1. Product Description
The FC-DC166 Induction Cooker has a luxurious design with a full black glass surface. The hot plates have a minimalist design that contribute to the modernity of a kitchen.
The surface glass is made of Schott Ceran® glass which is heat-resistant and has a durable structural capacity. Its luxurious shining surface is easy to clean after use.
2. Features
The FC-DC166 Induction cooker includes 2 cooking zones, operating with a total capacity of 3500w which allows 2 dishes to be cooked at the same time quickly and efficiently. The cooker also has other outstanding features such as:
– Efficient induction heating
Induction cooking uses an electromagnetic field to heat cookware directly, ensuring use of energy. As less heat is emitted from the stove, your kitchen remains cool especially in tropical weather conditions. Cooking time is also saved.
– Cooking without fire
Except for the contact surface between the cookware and the Frico Induction cooker, it is possible to touch the cooktop without burning. In addition, an induction cooker does not emit harmful substances like gas or charcoal stoves.
– Computerised control system:
Heat intensity and temperature are controlled with computerised system control.
– Protective features
There are 14 types of protective features: Lightning protection; Voltage protection; Fire and explosion prevention; High voltage protection; Low voltage protection; Protect the IGBT device from overheating; IGBT device protection; Short circuit protection; Induction heating surface protection; Prevention of electrical interference; Thermal shock protection; Small components protection; Protection against improper use of crucibles; Auto power cut-off after 2 hours to prevent overheating.
– LED display
Frico is the first brand to use an LED display which is extremely responsive.
3. Cookware selection
Induction cooker FC-DC166 operates on the principle of using the electromagnetic current to directly heat the cookware. Therefore, the induction safe cookware must be made from materials such as iron, iron alloy, or inox with a flat bottom surface.
Glass, copper, aluminum kitchen utensils or cookware with curved or concave bottoms and less than 12 cm in diameter are not recommended for induction cookers. These do not get heated on an induction cooker or have low heat generation, thus may be dangerous (eg. short circuit, fire).
The induction cooker creates high heat transfer efficiency and has less heat loss.
