SAFETY AND CONVENIENCE FEATURES

Smart Timer 

Cooking timer makes using the microwave more effectively even if the users are busy.

 To activate the function, you need to:

– Press the TIMER/CLOCK.

– Use the number keys to enter the time to count down.

– Press the START.

CAUTION: When the countdown is over, the microwave has a “beep” sound. A countdown can be seen on the screen in 5 seconds before the clock or cooking time scenes display again. The timer continues to count down even if it is not displayed. To check the countdown, press the TIMER/CLOCK once.

Child lock function

The child lock is equipped in the FC-MW131 microwave. When activated, it will disable the control panel and microwave door to protect children from accidentally touching the microwave.

The safety child lock helps to prevent injury caused by steam heating 

To set the child lock function: In the standby mode, press and hold the CANCEL key in 03 seconds, there will be a “beep” sound and the light will be on. In the locked state, all keys are inoperable.

To cancel the child lock function: Press the CANCEL key in 03 seconds, there will be a “beep” sound and the light will be off.

The overheat protection function

The screen shows E01 and a “DE-DE” sound when the system enters the overheat protection state. The system will return to the normal state when solving the errors and the CANCEL key is pressed.  

The lowheat protection

When the system enters the lowheat protection state, the screen shows “E02” and keeps “beep” sound until the system returns to the normal state and the “CANCEL” key is pressed.

Sensor malfunction protection

When a short circuit happens, the system will enter a protection state. The screen shows E03, the alarm will sound continuously until pressing  the “CANCEL” key. Call customer service to check and replace the wrong sensor. 

Cooling feature

The electronic control system of the microwave  has a cooling feature. For any cooking mode with the time of more than 2 minutes, after done, the fan will automatically operate for about 3 minutes to cool the oven, prolonging the life of the oven.

CONTROL MODES

MICROWAVE COOKING MODE (MICROWAVE)

The longest cooking time is 99 minutes and 99 seconds. The microwave cooking mode allows you to choose the capacity and cooking time. First, you select the capacity level by pressing the POWER LEVEL with a number of times (see the following table). Then use the number keys to set the cooking time, before pressing the START.

For example, you want to cook in 5 minutes at the capacity of 60%.

– In the standby mode, place the food in the microwave, and close the door.

– Press the POWER LEVEL several times to select the capacity level.

– Press the number key to enter the cooking time until reaching the desired time (5:00). 

– Press the START 

NOTICE:

You can check the current capacity by pressing the key during cooking. 

GRILL MODE

The longest grill time is 99 minutes and 99 seconds. The grill mode is especially useful for thin slices of meat, steaks, ribs, kebabs, sausages and chicken. This mode is also suitable for hot sandwiches and dishes with bread crumbs (gratin).

When using this function, the microwave will spread heat evenly in order to cook food quickly and still keep the original flavor of this food. 

Microwave FC-MW131 grill mode helps food be cooked quickly and evenly.

For example, you want to program the grill for 12 minutes.

– In standby mode, put the food in the microwave, and close the door

– Press the GRILL once

– Use the number key to enter the cooking time

– Press the START 

MICROWAVE + GRILL MODE 

The longest grill time is 99 minutes and 99 seconds. This feature allows you to combine grill  and microwave cooking with two different settings. First press this button once or twice to select the appropriate combination, then, on the screen, enter the cooking time. After pressing the START, the system starts counting down. During the cooking, you can check the capacity by pressing the MICRO + GRILL.

COMBINATION 1

Use for fish and gratin dishes. If  you want to cook with combination 1 for 25 minutes.

– Press the MICRO + GRILL once 

– Use number key to enter 25:00

– Press the START

COMBINATION 2

Use for puddings, omelets, baked potatoes and poultry. If you want to use combination mode 2 to cook for 12 minutes.

– Press the MICRO + GRILL  twice

– Use number key to enter 12:00

– Press the START 

CONVECTION MODE

During the cooking, hot air circulates in the displacement and makes potatoes be fried evenly. This microwave has 10 different cooking temperatures and programs. The shortest cooking time that can be set is 01 minute, and the highest is 99 minutes and 99 seconds.

Convection cooking mode:

To use convection mode, press the CONVECTION  once and  then press the number keys to enter the desired convection temperature (110oC~200oC).

If you want to cook at 1800C for 40 minutes.

– In standby mode, put the food in the microwave and close the door

– Press the CONVECTION

– Press the key number 8

– Press the number keys to enter the desired cooking time

– Press the START

Preheating and convection cooking mode

If  you want to heat up to 170oC and then cook for 35 minutes

– In the standby mode, press the CONVECTION. 

– Press the key number 7 to display the convection temperature.

– Press the START. 

– When the oven reaches the specified temperature, there will be a “beep” to remind the user. After every 5 seconds, there is a “beep” sound..

– Open the oven door and place the food in the center of the turntable.

– Use the number key to enter the cooking time

– Press the START. 

Notice: The longest preheating time is 30 minutes, and users can not set the preheating time. 

MICROWAVE + CONVECTION MODE

This microwave has four pre-programmed modes that make it easy to cook with both convection and microwave modes automatically. The minimum time can be set  is 1 minute, and the maximum is 9 hours and 99 minutes. Press the number (1~4) keys to select the convection temperature (110o C ~200o C). If you want to grill food for 24 minutes by using COMB3 mode.

– In standby mode, place the food in the microwave and close the door.

– Press the MICRO+CONVECTION.

– Use the number keys to enter the convection temperature.

– Use the number keys to enter the desired cooking time.

– Press the START to start.

NOTICE: During cooking, you can check the convection temperature by pressing MICRO+CONVECTION.

WEIGHT DEFROST 

This microwave can be used to defrost meat, poultry, and seafood.

If you want to defrost frozen meat.

– In standby mode, place the food in the microwave and close the door.

– Press the WEIGHT DEFROST once or repeatedly to select the weight (100g~1800g).

– Press the START.

Notice:  During defrosting, the system will pause and have a beep sound to remind the user to turn the food over, then press the START to continue defrosting.

MULTIPLE PHASES COOKING 

Your microwave can be programmed for up to three automatic cooking phases. If you want to set the cooking mode as follows.

Microwave cooking -> Convection cooking

Convection Cooking 

– In standby mode, place the food in the microwave and close the door.

– Press the POWER LEVEL to select the capacity level.

– Use the number keys to enter the cooking time.

– Press the CONVECTION once.

– Use the number keys to enter the convection temperature.

– Use the number keys to enter the cooking time by convection.

– Press the START 

NOTICE: Weight defrost and automatic cooking by menu are not programmed in the multiple phases cooking function.

AUTOMATIC COOKING MODE (MENU) 

With food or cooking mode below, it is not necessary to set the cooking time and capacity. Just indicate the type of food you want to cook as well as its weight.

– In standby mode, place the food in the microwave and close the door.

– Press a specific icon  once or repeatedly to select the weight of the food.

– Press the START.

HYGIENE AND MAINTENANCE THE MICROWAVE FC-MW131

– Turn off and unplug the electric plug from the outlet before cleaning the microwave.

– Keep the microwave inside clean. When food splashes or spilled liquid sticks to the microwave wall, wipe it off with a damp cloth. A detergent can be used if the oven is dirty. Avoid using sprays or other harsh cleaners as it can stain or tarnish on the surface.

-The outside should be wiped with a damp cloth. To avoid damage to the components inside the oven, do not let water seep into the air vents.

– Regularly wipe both sides of doors and windows, door seals and surrounding areas with a damp cloth to remove food or drink splashes. Do not use abrasives to clean.

– Do not let the control panel get wet. Please clean with a soft, damp cloth. When cleaning the control panel, leave the door open to avoid accidentally starting the oven.

– If steam accumulates inside or around the outside of the oven door, wipe it off with a soft cloth. This can happen when the microwave is operating in high humidity conditions. This is completely normal.

– It is necessary to remove the glass tray for cleaning. Wash the tray in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher. The turntable and the bottom of the oven also need to be cleaned regularly to avoid making noise. Clean the bottom simply with a mild detergent.

– The turntable can be cleaned with mild soapy water or in the dishwasher. When removing the turntable from displacement for cleaning, be sure to reinstall it in its original position.

– Deodorize the oven with the juice and zest of a lemon into a deep bowl which can be used in the microwave. Let the microwave work for 5 minutes, then dry with a soft cloth.

– When it is necessary to replace the lamp of the microwave oven, contact your dealer for assistance.

-It is necessary to clean the microwave regularly and remove all food particles. Failure to keep the oven clean can result in deterioration of the surface quality, which can adversely affect the life-expectancy  of the appliance and potentially lead to hazardous situations.

– Do not dispose of this product in household waste, it should be disposed of at a specific disposal center  of the city.

– When the microwave oven with grill function is used for the first time, it may be slightly smoky and smelly. This is normal because the oven is made of a steel plate coated with a lubricating oil, and a new oven may produce smoke and odors from burning the lubricating oil. This phenomenon will disappear after a period of use.
